As the private arm in the public-private partnership, Gatton Park on the Town Branch is committed to realizing the full vision of Town Branch Commons by making the park a reality. To support this effort, Blue Grass Community Foundation and a number of civic leaders and philanthropists joined together to create Town Branch Fund. Incubated at the Blue Grass Community Foundation, Town Branch Fund evolved into Gatton Park on the Town Branch, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The board and staff of Gatton Park on the Town Branch are working to transform acres of parking in the Manchester Parking Lot behind Rupp Arena into an inclusive, dynamic, fun, and uncommonly beautiful green space, reflecting the culture and spirit of Lexington.
