Terry has more than 20 years of downtown revitalization experience. He currently serves as President/CEO of the Downtown Lexington Partnership (DLP). Prior to assuming his position with DLP, Terry served as Executive Director of the Corpus Christi Downtown Management District.

Terry also worked for Indianapolis Downtown Incorporated (IDI) for 18 years. At IDI he developed safety and security programs and assisted with parking management, however, for most of his tenure, Terry served a Vice President of Real Estate Development.

Terry is a graduate of Corpus Christi Leadership Class and served on the Board of Directors of the Coastal Bend YMCA.  In Indianapolis, he was a featured speaker at the National Main Street Conference and Indiana Main Street Regional Conference, International Council of Shopping Centers Regional Conference, and Urban Land Institute (ULI) Indiana Breakfast Series.  Terry was selected to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty under 40 and Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Class. He is a graduate of Wabash College and obtained a Masters of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University.

When I envision an inclusive downtown park, I imagine people of all ages, background and abilities participating in daily programming and connecting with nature and each other and celebrating Lexington’s sense of community.
