A message from Town Branch Park

Town Branch Park stands firmly against racism and hate.  Since inception, Town Branch Park has been envisioned as the community’s living room - an extraordinarily beautiful and dynamic space for people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences to interact.  We remain committed to this vision, and believe that public spaces, like Town Branch Park, matter more now, than ever before.

In 2018, Town Branch Park, in collaboration with the Town Branch Park Partners and following extensive dialogue with our community, released the Town Branch Park Inclusion Report as a deliberate first step toward insuring that inclusion is at the forefront of all decisions related to park design, programming and operations.  This is but a start to our commitment to creating a place where everyone belongs, and that generates opportunities for shared experience among people of diverse backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, age, gender and socio-economic status.  We will not be bystanders, but rather pledge to listen and to work in partnership with the communities we serve to be a place of healing.
