I envision an inclusive downtown park. I imagine a park where I feel welcome; where I can take my family and feel it was built with everyone in mind; where there is something for everyone to do. I imagine comfortable benches where people can sit and socialize, green spaces where kids and young people can play and run, trees that clean our air and maybe a stage where events can take place.  When I imagine a new park for downtown Lexington, I imagine a gathering place for all, a place to rest, to read, to sit and mediate, to play, to walk or just to socialize with others in our community. I imagine a place developed with everyone in our community in mind.
